  2. Account: A personalised profile created by a User on the MyAngels platform that allows them to access features, connect with others, and receive personalised content. Example: Users must create an Account to send and receive blessings and connect with spiritual practitioners.
  3. Services: The functionalities and features offered by MyAngels are designed to empower Energy, Soul, Spirit, and Body through meaningful connections and positive interactions. These include, but are not limited to:
    • Sending Light – Share uplifting energy with others to promote well-being.
    • Good Thoughts (Blessings) – Send and receive blessings to support personal and collective spiritual growth.
    • Angels – Engage with the community by offering or receiving spiritual encouragement and guidance.
    • Wishes – Users can post their wishes, and others can support them to help make them come true.
    • Events – Participate in gatherings and experiences focused on enhancing Energy, Soul, Spirit, and Body, posted by accredited therapists and practitioners.
    • Stories – Explore and share positive stories, insights, and knowledge from accredited users, fostering a community built on uplifting and transformative content.
    • Videos – Watch and learn from videos posted by therapists, offering guidance, teachings, and insights into various spiritual and well-being practices.
    • Connecting with Spiritual Practitioners – Find and engage with therapists, healers, and guides suited to your journey.
    • AI-Powered Guidance – Receive personalized insights on therapies and spiritual practices tailored to your needs.

    These services are designed to create a supportive and positive environment where users can grow spiritually and connect with others on a meaningful level.

  4. Content: Any information, text, video, wish, story, event, graphics, or multimedia shared by Users on the platform, including messages, posts, and comments. Example: A User may post a personal reflection or share an inspirational quote within the community.
  5. Personal Data: Any information that can identify a User, such as name, email address, and preferences, which is collected and processed in accordance with GDPR regulations. Example: When a User registers, their email address is considered Personal Data and is protected under privacy laws.
  6. Third Parties: Entities or individuals that are not directly affiliated with MyAngels but may interact with Users through advertising, partnerships, or external services. Examples include:
    • Wellness organisations collaborating with MyAngels to offer exclusive content.
    • Spiritual practitioners or therapists providing services through independent agreements.
    • Advertising partners showcasing relevant offerings to Users.
    • Technology integrations (e.g., video streaming, AI tools) that enhance the MyAngels experience.

    These third parties operate independently from MyAngels, and their services, content, or advertisements are subject to their own terms and policies.

  7. Privacy Policy: The document that outlines how MyAngels collects, uses, and protects Users' Personal Data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations. Example: Users should review the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is handled.
  8. Community: The collective group of Users interacting on the MyAngels platform, sharing experiences, support, and blessings with one another. Community engagement is fostered through personal connections, where Users who mutually accept each other as friends can chat directly. To fully participate in the MyAngels experience, Users are encouraged to build meaningful connections with others. Expanding one’s network enables Users to send and receive Light, Good Thoughts (Blessings), and Angels, increasing the positive energy exchanged within the community. The more connections a User has, the greater their ability to give and receive spiritual support, fostering a deeply interconnected and uplifting environment.

User Obligations

This chapter outlines the responsibilities and requirements that Users must adhere to while using the MyAngels platform. Understanding these obligations is crucial for maintaining a positive and supportive community.

  1. Eligibility Requirements
  2. Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an Account on MyAngels. If a User is under 18, they may only use the platform with the consent of a parent or guardian who is also a User. Example: A User who is 16 years old must obtain permission from their parents before using the platform.

    Legal Capacity: Users must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and obligations. By creating an Account, Users affirm that they meet this requirement. Example: Users who are declared legally incompetent by a court are not eligible to use the platform without proper representation.

  3. Responsibilities of Users
    • Providing Accurate Information: Users are required to provide true, accurate, and complete information during the registration process and while using the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, their name, email address, and any other requested details. Example: A User must update their profile if their email address changes to ensure ongoing communication regarding their account.
    • Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials, including their password. They must notify MyAngels immediately of any unauthorised use of their Account or any other security breach. Example: If a User suspects that their Account has been compromised, they should change their password and report the incident to MyAngels support.
    • Respectful Interaction: Users must engage with others respectfully and contribute to a positive and supportive community. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, discrimination, or any form of harmful behaviour will not be tolerated. If a User encounters abusive comments, threats, or inappropriate content, they should report it immediately using the platform’s reporting tools. MyAngels reserves the right to take action, including warning, restricting, or suspending accounts that violate these guidelines.
    • Proper Use of "My Wishes": "My Wishes" is a space for Users to share meaningful wishes that reflect personal growth, positivity, and aspirations. Users can support each other's wishes to help them come true. To maintain the integrity of this feature:
      • Wishes must be constructive and aligned with MyAngels' values (e.g., personal goals, dreams, spiritual aspirations).
      • Harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited, including:
        • Curses, threats, or messages wishing harm.
        • Hate speech, discrimination, or bullying.
        • Random thoughts, nonsensical text, or content unrelated to a real wish.
      • MyAngels reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to "My Wishes" for Users who violate these guidelines.
    • Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using the platform. This includes respecting copyright laws and not sharing unauthorised content. Example: A User sharing content from a book or article must ensure they have the rights or permissions to do so.
    • Use of Services: Users must use the Services provided by MyAngels in a manner consistent with their intended purpose. Any misuse or exploitation of the Services, including spamming or solicitation, is prohibited. Example: A User should refrain from sending multiple identical messages to other Users in a short period.
    • Feedback and Contributions: Users are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the MyAngels platform. Constructive feedback helps create a better experience for everyone in the community. Example: A User who has ideas for new features can share them through the designated feedback channels provided on the platform.

Account Creation and Management

  1. Process for Creating an Account
  2. Eligibility Verification: Users must confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the User Obligations section. This includes providing accurate age and legal capacity information.

    1. Press the "Sign Up" button on the MyAngels landing page.
    2. Fill in the registration form, providing your first name, family name, email, and password.
    3. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions by ticking the box.
    4. Complete the CAPTCHA verification by ticking the "I am not a robot" box.
    5. Click "Sign Up."
    6. A box will open requiring a 6-digit verification number. This number will be sent to you via email from MyAngels.
    7. Check your email, copy the verification number, and return to the MyAngels app.
    8. Paste the verification number into the designated box on MyAngels.
  3. Profile Completion
  4. In order for your account to be complete and visible on MyAngels, every new user must complete their profile by providing additional information, which can enhance their experience on the platform. This may include interests, preferences, and a profile picture.

    After completing the previous steps, a profile form will pop up, requiring some mandatory information (marked as mandatory) and optional information (marked as optional).

    You will have the option to make this information public or private by ticking the appropriate box.

    Including a profile photo is highly recommended, as it helps others get to know you better.

    After filling out your profile, press "Save" and then click "Back" to navigate to your newly created MyAngels page.

    This process ensures that your account is fully set up and ready for interaction within the MyAngels community.

  5. User Responsibilities for Account Security
  6. Password Security: Users are responsible for creating a strong password and must keep it confidential. It is recommended to change passwords regularly and avoid using easily guessable information.

    Account Activity Monitoring: Users should regularly monitor their account activity and immediately report any unauthorised access or suspicious behaviour to MyAngels support.

    Logout Practices: Users are advised to log out of their accounts after each session, especially when using shared or public devices to prevent unauthorised access.

Account Termination and Suspension Policies

  1. Termination by Users
  2. Users may terminate their accounts at any time through their account settings. To delete your account, please follow these steps:

    • Access Account Settings: Press the triangle button located in the upper right part of your MyAngels page.
    • Select Account Settings: From the dropdown menu, choose and press "Account Settings."
    • Initiate Account Deletion: A pop-up titled "Delete Account" will appear. Press the option that says "I want to delete my Account."
    • Email Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address.
    • Reconfirm Deletion: Open the email and follow the instructions to reconfirm that you want to delete your account.

    By confirming your request, your account will be permanently deleted. Please note that this action cannot be undone, and all associated data will be lost.

  3. Termination by MyAngels
  4. MyAngels reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to the following reasons:

    • Violation of Community Guidelines: Engaging in behaviours such as abuse, harassment, threats, hate speech, or any harmful conduct toward others.
    • Spam or Fraudulent Activity: Posting misleading, spam, or deceptive content, or engaging in fraudulent actions that undermine the integrity of the platform.
    • Impersonation or Misrepresentation: Creating accounts under false identities, misrepresenting oneself or others, or falsely claiming affiliations.
    • Legal Compliance: Participating in illegal activities, violating regulations, or infringing upon third-party rights.
    • Misuse of Platform Features: Exploiting MyAngels' services, including but not limited to "My Wishes," "Sending Light," or messaging features, for purposes outside their intended use, such as spreading harmful content.

    For minor violations, MyAngels may notify users and allow them to appeal within a reasonable timeframe. However, for serious violations, including illegal activities, impersonation, or severe harm to the platform or its users, MyAngels may terminate accounts immediately without prior notice. Termination decisions are final and at MyAngels' sole discretion.

  5. Impact of Suspension or Termination
  6. Loss of Access: Upon termination, users will lose access to their accounts. Most associated content and data will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required for legal, compliance, or security purposes.

  7. Reporting Violations
  8. To help ensure that MyAngels remains a safe and supportive community, users are encouraged to report violations of these policies. Reports may include, but are not limited to:

    • Offensive or harmful content.
    • Harassment, threats, or abuse.
    • Misuse of platform features.
    • Violations of MyAngels' Terms & Conditions.

    How to Report a Violation:

    • Visit the Page of the Offending User: Navigate to the profile or page of the individual or entity violating the policies.
    • Press the Triangle Button: In the top right corner of the page, click on the triangle icon to reveal a dropdown menu.
    • Select "Report Abuse": From the dropdown list, choose the "Report Abuse" option.
    • Identify the Issue: A new screen will appear, where users can specify the type of violation they are reporting. This may include categories such as offensive language, harmful conduct, inappropriate content, or violation of legal rights.
    • Submit the Report: After selecting the item that corresponds to the violation, submit the report for MyAngels' review.

    MyAngels will review all reports and take appropriate actions based on the nature and severity of the violation. These actions may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension/termination. Not all reports will result in action, and MyAngels retains full discretion over enforcement decisions. Reports submitted in bad faith or to harass other users may result in penalties against the reporter. This policy ensures that MyAngels remains a positive space for all users, promoting responsible and respectful interaction.

Data Protection and Privacy

    MyAngels does not sell personal data to third parties.

    • Compliance and Security: To ensure compliance with legal obligations and protect the platform from fraud or abuse (legal basis: legal obligation or legitimate interest).
    • AI-Powered Conversations: To improve AI chat interactions and generate personalised insights (legal basis: user consent).
  7. AI-Powered Conversations & Data Processing
  8. MyAngels provides an AI-powered chat system designed to offer guidance, recommendations, and personalised support. When users interact with the AI, the following data may be processed:

    • Chat Content: Messages exchanged between users and the AI may be stored to enhance responses and provide relevant recommendations.
    • AI-Generated Insights: The AI may analyze conversations to suggest therapies, practitioners, or platform features that align with user needs.
    • Retention Period: AI chat data will be stored for 1 year to improve user experience and maintain service continuity.

    AI conversations are private and not visible to other users.

  9. User Rights Regarding Their Data
  10. Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

    • Access: Users can request access to their personal data held by MyAngels.
    • Rectification: Users can request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
    • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Users have the right to request the deletion of their data under certain circumstances.
    • Data Portability: Users can request their data in a structured, commonly used format to transfer to another service.
    • Withdrawal of Consent: Users can withdraw consent for data processing at any time, where consent is the legal basis for processing.

    AI Chat Data: AI chat history will be stored for 1 year and automatically deleted afterward unless a user requests earlier deletion.

    User-Initiated Deletion: Users can request deletion of their accounts and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

    Certain data may be retained longer if necessary for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

    License Grant: By posting or sharing content on MyAngels, users grant MyAngels a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute their content solely within MyAngels' platform and its directly related services (e.g., mobile apps, notifications).

    Marketing & External Promotions: If MyAngels wishes to use user-generated content for external marketing purposes (e.g., social media, advertising campaigns), MyAngels will request explicit user consent through a structured approval process. Users have the right to approve or decline such requests without affecting their use of the platform.

    Content Removal: If a user deletes their content or account, MyAngels will remove the content from public display, but copies may remain in backups or archives for a limited period as required for operational or legal purposes.

  5. User Responsibility for Content
  6. Users must ensure they have the rights to any content they upload and that it does not infringe on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

    MyAngels is not responsible for copyright violations caused by user-submitted content. If a third party claims ownership of any content, MyAngels reserves the right to remove or restrict access to the disputed material.

    Derivative Works: Works based on or derived from one or more existing works.

    • No Circumvention of Security: Users must not attempt to bypass any security measures implemented by MyAngels to protect its intellectual property or data.

    Users are encouraged to report any suspected unauthorised use of MyAngels’ intellectual property through the platform's reporting system or support channels.

  11. Marketing Consent Process
  12. If MyAngels selects user-generated content for external marketing, the following process will apply:

    • User Notification: MyAngels will send an email and in-app notification requesting explicit approval to use their content in external promotions.
    • Approval via Click-Based System: Users will be directed to a consent page where they can choose to approve or decline the request.
    • Consent Record Storage: If approved, the consent status will be stored in MyAngels' database with the user's ID, date, and content reference.
    • Opt-Out Option: Users may withdraw consent at any time through their account settings, and MyAngels will stop using their content in future promotions.

    By implementing this process, MyAngels ensures clear user consent, legal compliance, and transparency in content usage.

  13. Consequences of Violations
  14. Violating MyAngels' intellectual property rights or misusing user-generated content may result in:

    • Warnings or Content Removal for minor infractions.
    • Account Suspension or Termination for repeated or severe violations.

Users retain ownership of any content they upload but grant MyAngels a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display their content solely for platform operation and promotion. This license remains in effect until users delete their content or account, after which MyAngels will remove it from public access.     MyAngels does not guarantee the quality, effectiveness, legitimacy, or safety of any third-party services or products, including those referenced by the AI.

    MyAngels is not responsible for resolving disputes between users and third-party providers. Any issues arising from such interactions must be addressed directly with the service provider.
